My heart beats for ISLAM: Three Points about Joking
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful…
Let us be reminded that while light-hearted, honest joking from time to time is permissible, there are indeed dangers in joking that many of us may not think about and therefore fall into, so let us be warned about them:
1) JOKES…
"Seek knowledge, because seeking it for the sake of Allāh is a worship; and knowing it makes you more God-fearing; and searching for it is jihād, teaching it to those who do not know is charity, reviewing and learning it more is like tasbīh. Through knowledge Allāh will be known and worshipped. With the knowledge Allāh will elevate people and make them leaders and imāms, who will in turn guide other people."
